Igor Terekhov on the differentiation of anxiety: We have already passed more than halfway

Kharkiv is working on implementing a differentiated system of warning about threats from Russia.

In an interview with the UNIAN news agency, Mayor Igor Terekhov stressed that differentiation is extremely important for Kharkiv, where air raid alerts can last for several tens of hours.

"We have already gone more than halfway to develop such a system. There are cases when the alert lasts, for example, fifty hours. It is impossible to live like that. Firstly, people get used to it and no longer respond to air raid alarms at all. Secondly, some institutions, such as banks, simply do not allow work when an air raid alarm sounds. And at that time, people cannot use the bank's services. This is a powerful pressure on people," said Igor Terekhov.
