Kharkiv receives first equipment from UNESCO to record destruction of cultural heritage sites The Working Group on Rapid Response to the Destruction of Cultural Heritage Sites received the first technical equipment from UNESCO with the support of the Department for International Cooperation.

The equipment received includes modern surveying instruments, a camera with professional optics and computer equipment that will help specialists scan damaged monuments, store digital copies and plan the restoration of the city's historical heritage.  

Further work is underway with UNESCO, including obtaining equipment for a more detailed study of the damage, 3D documentation and digital reconstruction of damaged cultural heritage sites.
